Operations Manual¶
This manual is the single operating reference for Dealing Room work. It consolidates daily shift SOPs, templates, incident handling, risk escalation, reporting and authority control into a smaller set of practical pages.
How To Use This Manual¶
| Need | Use |
|---|---|
| Starting, running or handing over a shift | Shift Operations |
| Handling incidents, quote issues, client impact or risk escalation | Incident & Risk Workflow |
| Checking authority, sign-off, reporting or reconciliation standards | Governance & Reporting |
| Looking up terms | Glossary |
Operating Principle¶
The manual is not a job-title ladder and not a list of isolated templates. A Dealer should use it to answer five practical questions:
- What must be checked now?
- What evidence should be kept?
- Who owns the next action?
- What requires Shift Leader confirmation?
- What must be handed over or reviewed later?
Document Hierarchy¶
| Layer | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Training chapters | Teach judgement, concepts and scenario handling |
| Operations Manual | Define the standard way of working |
| Working records | Capture shift evidence, actions, responsible person and next update time |
| Authority sign-off | Confirm who may perform or approve controlled actions |
