Event Calendar¶
What is this?¶
The canonical operational calendar for economic events, one-off events and recurring sessions. Its windows can be consumed by approved pricing and risk controls.
When do I use it?¶
At shift start, before material events, when market conditions change sharply, and during handover.
What should I look at?¶
Event name, layer/type, severity, start and end window, affected scope, current platform time reference and any approved override or session context.
What is normal?¶
Current events and sessions appear in the expected layer, their time windows align with the approved source, and ownership is clear.
What looks wrong?¶
Missing events, conflicting times, incorrect timezone conversion, overlapping windows or an event/control window that cannot be reconciled with the approved calendar.
What do I do next?¶
Validate the official event time and current platform server-time reference. Record the source, checker, check time, confirmed window and any difference. Never reuse an old event sheet as the sole confirmation.
When do I escalate?¶
If platform time, announcement time or shift reminder is inconsistent, pause subsequent control confirmation and escalate immediately. Dealers verify approved status; authorised personnel execute controls.
